Read Learn Grow
Children K- 3rd Grade
We are currently unable to provide this program due to the current pandemic; however, if your child is in need of tutoring or if you are willing to tutor a child please send and email to info.psdumc@gmail.com
Each Sunday from 4-5pm
Reading Helps is one of the ways we provide support to parents and educators in the Meridian area to encourage and assist with reading. During this hour on Sunday afternoon your child will have a small snack and be partnered with an approved (background checked) reading mentor. At times they may play reading related educational games, but most often they will work with your child to increase there excitement around books, strengthen reading skills, and take an interest in your child’s education. Please also note we follow safe sanctuary rules, so no child is ever alone with an adult. Keller Joyner is our contact person for Reading Helps, if you have specific questions feel free to email her @ kellerjoyner@gmail.com. Hope to see you in Reading Helps!
